[review] ever-color - hami queen pink.

YESSSSSSSS!  My pomegranate lenses are here!  Well, that's what I call them.  I was getting tired of the usual lenses you find in every single site like PinkyParadise, HoneyColor, etc.  I wanted something new so I went searching around.  I came around some Chinese sites a while ago and decided to look into it some more.  Granted they do have the same lenses sometimes, but they have a different selection of lenses.  I really wanted to try some, but there's this fear out there of fake Chinese duplicates that everyone is afraid of.  All I have to say about that is, if you buy from a legitimate brand, it'll still be lenses manufactured in South Korea, but under a Chinese brand name.  You just have to do your research and make sure you know what you're buying.  A really nice thing about Chinese brands is that most all of them actually come with an authenticity code that you can enter into their website to check if they're authentic or not.

I was actually looking for Lumina from FFXIII: Lightning Returns lenses but there was nothing out there I liked so I started looking at Chinese brands.  I finally found them and I'll review them later, but I also came across a lot of other lenses I wanted.  One that struck out to me so much  were the Ever-color - Hami Queen Pink.  I have never seen a pink like this before, it's not really pink but more of a reddish/pink color.  It makes me think of a pomegranate.  The color was so striking that I could not say no to it, so I impulse bought it.

All I have to say is that I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!!  The color is amazing and it's just stunning.  I also paired it up with some pink and red eyeshadow and Loveli Bunni's Astral Pink Eye Glitter along with the lenses.  It turned out amazing; I'm still in awe at how good it looked.  >3<  I actually made a quick video of how I achieved the look.  It's not anything in depth, but just a quick and brief overview.

Brand: Ever-color
Series: Hami Queen
B.C.: 8.6 mm
DIA: 14.5 mm
Water Content: 38%
Color: Pink

The packaging the Chinese brands come in are so appealing.  They are so much cuter than just regular vials.  That left corner of the box is where you can scratch off the authenticity code.
The lenses come in plastic packaging with all the information printed on the top of it.
Since these aren't vials, you just have to peel the top cover off SLOWLY.  You don't want to drop your lenses in your sink...I almost did that.  lol...
Look at that color!!  It's so gorgeous~  I was so excited to put it on, but I had to let it soak overnight first.
And this is what they look like!  It complements the makeup so well~  ;A;  I'm in love with these lenses~
And an even closer view of it.  The Astral Pink eye glitter shows up better on this photo too.
Close up view of it in video.  Not sure why it was so saturated in the video though.
[Please watch in 1080p HD]
I took photos with my Inori wig and photos without it.  Some of my friends actually said that they thought the makeup complemented my real hair better.

What I think about the lenses?
Pomegranates.  I will buy these lenses again and again and again.  lol
Comfort: 4.5/5
Very comfortable.  There was a slight, but very brief discomfort though.  I was not sure if that was due to glitter/makeup in my eyes, or the lenses themselves.
Enlargement: 5/5
For my eyes, these are perfect for enlargement.  There is a limbal ring, but I love how it is not black, but a darker shade of the red/pink color.
Color: 5/5
I LOVE THIS COLOR.  The lenses don't completely blend in with my eye as well, but the color makes up for it.  There's also a halo effect too.

  2. I don't know what to say actually. DAMN, these are just plain gorgeous! Can't wait to see the ones you choose for Lumina, too.
You have my respect for trying out a rather unknown Chinese brand. >w<

    1. Yes I know right! The color was just too amazing to not have. XD
Well I mean if you do your research and what not. Chinese brands are equally as safe as long as you know who you're buying from.

  3. Oh, these are so pretty!
Shin, I have a question, if you don't mind. I'd like to order these, but when I went on the ever-color website, I can't seem to find a link to buy this pair? How do you order from this site?
    Thank you!
